Orthopedically Impaired Itinerants (OI)

For students with an OI eligibility, who are in SDP programs with teachers who do not hold a PHI Credential. Itinerant Service provision includes: Consultation in classroom with teachers on the impact of the student’s disability on educational performance. Assistance with providing curriculum access to students through the provision of classroom adaptions and strategies that address the student’s physical, sensory, and health impairments. Assistance with modifying or adapting curricula, materials, activities, and physical environments to address the student’s needs.
