The Instructional Technology Initiative (ITI) is committed to celebrating digital citizenship practices year-round and highlighting Digital Citizenship Certified Schools across the District. Digital Citizenship is the practice of cultivating a positive, authentic digital footprint (i.e. effectively engaging online) that can be leveraged for college and career success.

The purpose of ITI's digital citizenship program is to:

• Cultivate a common understanding of digital citizenship.
• Create awareness of digital citizenship implications for college, career, & community.
• Demonstrate digital citizenship as integral to instruction.
