The Instructional Technology Initiative hosts annual Signature Events bringing partners, educators, and leaders together for professional learning opportunities. These learning experiences are geared toward building the bridge between edtech industry, research, and practice, and are founded on instructional frameworks that leverage technology in purposeful and personalized ways. Our Signature Events support the implementation of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards, advancement of Digital Citizenship and expansion of Computer Science.
DigCitConDigCitCon is LAUSD’s premier digital citizenship conference for administrators, by administrators. In partnership with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 16, DigCitCon empowering #DigCitLA education leaders to connect, collaborate, and build community as digital agents.
Visit pageLeading Edge EdTech SummitLeading Edge EdTech Summit (LEETS) is a professional learning experience geared toward building the bridge between edtech research and practice, featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, and workshops led by leaders in both K12 and higher education.
Visit pageLeadership Exchange SummitThe Leadership Exchange (LX) Summit brings together Instructional Leadership Teams in an ongoing cycle for transforming learning with technology. Learners engage in hands-on immersive sessions as a follow up workshop for schools who have attended the LX and Instructional Technology Planning Cohort (ITPC) over the past few years, providing ongoing supports and helping school leaders implement their instructional technology plans and continue learning.

Students collaborate, compete, and reshape the future of Los Angeles in a build challenge focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each region’s top submissions qualify to advance to Level 2: Region Rumble, a single elimination tournament concluding in the championships.
