As a District-wide resource with a finite budget to support all learners, ITI leverages key partnerships, supports critical policy updates and developments, and engages in capacity-building of staff to infuse ITI’s District-wide efforts with the latest instructional trends and support for personalized learning.
Amazon Future Engineer + BootUp
Amazon Future Engineer + BootUp Elementary Computer Science Grant
participants will have the opportunity to establish professional growth
goals that pertain to instructional design around computer science.
Additionally, these learnings will align with and support the District
computer science initiatives. This partnership provides all of the
support needed to implement computer science in elementary grades
districtwide.
BrainPOP
Provides co-creation opportunities for professional development focused
on the integration of their platform.
California Emerging Technology
Provides resources and support to select middle schools toward bridging
the digital divide.
Code.org
LA Unified is a District and Regional Partner with Code.org. This
partnership is designed to provide guidance and support in expanding
computer science education courses and professional learning
opportunities District-wide.
Common Sense Education
Provides resources and support in developing and designing high-quality
digital citizenship and digital literacy programs that inform
District-wide policy and program efforts.
EdPuzzle
Edpuzzle provides co-creation opportunities for student engagement via videos. Edpuzzle is an
exclusive partner with Youtube and provides a safe platform for video solutions through the
integration of their platform.
Google
Provides support for the use of professional development learning
sessions for L.A. Unified educators and ITI staff.

Intel
Building Skills for Innovation through Education technology (EdTech) is
a powerful tool to connect students with learning opportunities. Through
this partnership Intel and ITI, see the potential for using technology
in the classroom to help students learn the skills necessary for the
Fourth Industrial Revolution. Together we empower students and teachers
to envision a world in which students learn the skills necessary to
traverse the shifting landscape of the online, remote and in person
learning environments.
International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
Serves as thought partner in exploring a variety of instructional
strategies and supports as the District works toward implementing the
ISTE Standards across all grade levels.

Provides professional development opportunities focused on promising
instructional technology practices.

ITI and MindSpark have partnered to co-create and deliver extraordinary

throughout the district. The focus of this partnership is to nurture

Provides co-creation opportunities for professional development focused

Soundtrap
ITI and Spotify have partnered to co-create professional learning
sessions regarding their Soundtrap platform. These learning sessions on
this online cross-platform digital audio platform will provide support
to students and teachers in creating music and podcasts, as well as
serve as a digital tool for student communication.
UCLA Center X
Serves as research-practice partnership to expand computer science
education offers in equitable and sustainable ways across the District.
