• Accelerated College and Career Transition Program (ACCT)


    Program Description
     

    The ACCT program is geared toward young adults ages 16-24 who want to earn their high school diploma or equivalency.  The program is operated by DACE (Division of Adult and Career Education), and classes are held at LAUSD Adult and Career Education Sites, Skills Centers, and Occupational Centers. Psychiatric Social Workers (PSWs) are on campus to provide mental health support to reduce barriers to learning in order to achieve graduation.

    • Crisis prevention and intervention support
    • Mental health consultation for parents and caregivers, teachers, and school administrators
    • Referral and linkage to mental health and other community resources
    • Mental health awareness and psychoeducation
