Mental Health and Wellness Resources
It is important to prioritize mental health and well-being in moments of crisis. Here are some resources to support you and your family during this time:
Psychological First Aid (PFA): An evidence-based approach to help children, teens, adults, and families cope in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN): Offers resources on helping children manage the emotional impact of wildfires. Student and Family Wellness Resource Line: Call (213) 241-3840 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) for mental health support for students and families. Employee Assistance Service for Education (EASE): LAUSD employees can call the 24/7 support line at 800-882-1341 for assistance.
