    A prior Marine with a BA in history from CSULA and MBA from Mount St Mary’s University.  Work experience in several industries; aviation, commercial satellites, civil affairs, logistics and transportation.  Prior clients include Starbucks and Cardinal Health.

    Ms. Duarte has twenty-six years in the School Bus industry and is dedicated to ensuring a safe, effective, responsive, and efficient transport service to the staff and the students. She has served as a school bus driver, Assistant Area Bus Supervisor, Area Bus Supervisor, and a Regional Transportation Manager. She graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor’s in Public Sector Management with a focus on Management and Leadership, and is currently applying to CSUN’s Masters of Public Administration program.

    A leader in public administration, advocate for education and passionate about providing a safe student transportation program to the second largest school district in the nation.

    Entered LAUSD's School Bus Driver Training Program at nineteen, following the career path of his mother, a retired LAUSD school bus driver.  Today, with over thirty years of experience in student transportation, he is focused on leadership and organizational behavior. Combining his experience with a bachelor's degree in Public Sector Management and a master's degree in Public Administration allows him to provide the best support to our students, parents, drivers, staff, and the entire school community.

    Michael Clark is the Regional Transportation Manager in Region E. He oversees routes that support schools in Local Districts Northeast, Northwest, West, and Central.

    Mr. Clark’s career in the school bus industry spans 36 years, with over 34 of those years as a dedicated employee of LAUSD. He has served in multiple capacities as a Driver, Assistant Area Bus Supervisor, Area Bus Supervisor, Regional Transportation Planner, and Regional Transportation Manager.

    Mr. Clark is a product of LAUSD and takes great pride in supporting the students of LAUSD attain academic success.
