DEADLINE: Resignations for the current school year must be received by the Certificated Assignments and Support Services office at least 2 calendar months prior to the resignation or no later than June 30 of each year.

If you were a permanent teacher and return within 39 months of paid service, you will be reinstated to your former status and salary level.
No. Even though you resigned and returned within 39 months, you do not retain your seniority date. When you reinstate, your new seniority date is your first day of paid service with the District.
