Prequalification Requirements
The following prequalification requirements are applicable to all bids:
- Bidders must be pre-qualified in order to submit a bid for all formal, competitively bid school construction projects.
- Bidders must annually pre-qualify by submitting a completed Prequalification Questionnaire.
- California Contractor's License - Bidders shall have, at the time of submission of the bid, the appropriate license(s) in full force and effect for the work to be performed under the contract.
- To pre-qualify, applicant must have State Worker's Compensation Insurance.
- All insurance coverage must be provided through a California-admitted Insurance Company with an A-VII or higher rating, according to the A.M. Best Company standards.
- Provide bonding by a surety company licensed to do business in California.
- Provide Contractor References and/or current financial statement, as specified in the questionnaire.
- Compliance with District requirements (including the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP), Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA) for BB Bond funded projects and Prevailing Wage)
- Achieve a passing Contractor Performance Score of at least 35 of 50 points each for Field and Compliance Components
