The State of California requires a unique project tracking number (PTN) be obtained for each project submitted to the Division of the State Architect (DSA) or to the California Department of Education (CDE) for review. A unique PTN is also required for projects submitted to the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC) for funding. The purpose of the unique PTN is to join application data utilized by DSA, CDE and OPSC so school districts and other interested parties can seamlessly identify and access the status of a specific project during the approval processes of each office.
FLGF obtains and distributes PTNs for entities planning school construction projects within the LAUSD boundaries. To request the issuance of a PTN, please submit an email with the subject line "PTN” to the contact person listed on this page. Within the body of the email, provide the following information for each project requiring a PTN:
We will provide you with your PTN(s) by close of the next business day.
