Through this Los Angeles Unified Innovation Grant, we were able to build a working and collaborative relationship between our Local District East Arts Specialist, Art Liaison Teachers and the South Gate Art Gallery. This grant has provided our students with opportunities to create art to better support their social-emotional well-being, especially after the loss and stress the pandemic caused many in our community.
