    Local District East prioritizes equity in all schools and builds on community assets to convert micro-aggressions into micro-affirmations that will lead to students achieving college/career readiness and becoming agents of social change.

    When Local District East forms Community of Schools that develop leadership to serve students through a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, learners will be engaged in rigorous grade level Standards based tasks.

     

     

    EACH COMMUNITY OF SCHOOLS WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING FOCI:


    • Leadership Development
    • Engaged students in rigorous grade level Standards based tasks
    • Established Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
