Region East

  • Welcome to Local District East

    Parent and Community Engagement Unit!

Welcome to the Parent and Community Engagement (PACE) website. It is our pleasure to partner and collaborate with families, administrators, students and staff.

We will continue to lead professional development for parents, families, administrators and staff that focus on family engagement to promote the academic and social-emotional growth and achievement of all students.
    Theory of Change
Local District East prioritizes equity in all schools and builds on community assets to convert micro-aggressions into micro-affirmations that will lead to students achieving college/career readiness and becoming agents of social change.

Each Community of Schools will have the following Foci:

    1. Leadership development

    2. Engaging students in rigorous grade level Standards based tasks

    3. Establishing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

We look forward to working with all of you to improve parent engagement and student achievement.

    In partnership,

    Elsa Tinoco

    Local District East PACE Administrator
