The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is the second-largest public school district in the nation, serving a diverse student population that speaks 94 languages other than English, with 80% of students coming from low-income households. To meet the unique needs of these communities, there is a critical need to recruit, prepare, and support new administrators who are equipped to lead effectively.
In response to this need, LAUSD’s LAPASC (Los Angeles Preliminary Administrative Services Credential) program is dedicated to preparing high-quality, equity-driven leaders who are committed to improving student outcomes. The program offers a comprehensive administrative preparation experience designed to equip future school leaders with the skills, knowledge, and cultural competency needed to serve the diverse students of LAUSD.
