Foreign Student Admissions OfficeThe Foreign Student Admissions Office (FSAO) strives to enrich the educational environment of LAUSD by supporting and advancing the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of eligible international students on both F1 and J1 visas into LAUSD schools high schools.
UPDATE (as of January 16, 2024)
The LAUSD is currently reviewing the admissions policy for international students on F1 or J1 Visas. Applications are not being accepted at this time. An update will be posted on this website once a re-opening date has been confirmed.
The Foreign Student Admissions Office has the exclusive authority to issue Form I-20 and sign the High School Enrollment Form on behalf of the LAUSD. All interested parties should be directed to the FSAO.
If you are interested in studying in the U.S. on an F1 visa, other school options can be found on the Study in the States website at https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/. Scroll down to "Tools", then "School Search" and narrow your search by education type to "high school". You will need to contact the school directly for information on admissions.
