  • Aleigh Lewis is a parent of two elementary school daughters in second and fifth grade at Mt. Washington Elementary School in LAUSD. For the past decade, she has dedicated her volunteer time to advocating for dynamic and climate-resilient public spaces for children. She is a Co-Founder of the parent advocacy group - Angelenos for Green Schools and sits on LAUSD's Greening Schools & Climate Resilience Committee. Aleigh is currently a program manager at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative where she oversees community engagement and construction for a range of neighborhood-driven public improvement projects. Before working in the non-profit sector, she worked in the film industry for more than twenty years in post-production on many award-winning feature films and television series.
