Student Wellbeing Centers
L.A. Unified is proud to partner with the Los Angeles County Departments of Public Health and Mental Health, and Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles to host Student Wellbeing Centers on selected campuses throughout the District.
These centers offer youth-focused health and wellness education and preventive health care that is accessible to young people on their high school campuses.
Student Wellbeing Centers offer services to educate students for lifelong protective practices by addressing substance abuse prevention and control measures, reproductive health, social/emotional well-being, and youth leadership. These spaces are youth-friendly and provide students with a safe, welcoming place where they will find caring adults, supportive peers, and integrated services.
