Day 1: Monday, April 27, 2015

 

There were ninety-one (91) respondents present today.

 

The District wishes to thank employees who were able to attend the RIF Hearing.  The District and UTLA reviewed the records for thirty-one (31) K-12 and Adult Education teachers and agreed that they met the competency criteria and have agreed to teach in that subject area for the 2015-2016 academic year.

 

Although three (3) people were not on the list of participants to attend the RIF Hearing, there were able to participate in the proceedings. 

 

In addition, Opening Arguments were presented by United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) and Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)

The next session is called for Tuesday, April 28, 2015  at 9:00 AM.  The District anticipates calling a first witness on Day 2.
