Strategic Data & Evaluations

Conduct rigorous mixed-method studies of District initiatives and to oversee external research in the District. Partner with ODA on the revision to the School Experience Survey.

Office of Data & Accountability

Governance and reporting of official student data, administration of all mandated state testing, fulfillment of data requests from internal and external parties, and maintenance of historical student records for alumni.

Charter Schools Division

Fulfill authorizing and oversight requirements related to charter schools; facilitate implementation of Proposition 39 legal obligations; support sharing of promising practices.

Strategic Initiatives Office

Development and oversight of the Strategic Plan and the Local Control and Accountability Plan.

Equitable School Performance Office

Build school data analysis capacity and reflection through the Data Champions initiative and Data DIG meetings in support of Priority Schools; lead school plan development and strategic budgeting for use of Targeted Student Population (TSP) funds; facilitate the development of the District’s Equitable Supports and School Flexibility plan, and provide support to schools with current autonomous models (e.g., Pilot, Affiliated Charter).

Strategic Enrollment & Program Planning Office

Improve District student enrollment using data-driven decisions to inform District policies and region/school decisions; manage District choices process and school search tool; provide direct support to families with region.
