Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
Budget Summary

  • The Los Angeles Unified School District is committed to investing resources in innovative programs and learning activities that are student-centered and leverage the expertise and skills of community partners to drive positive academic and social-emotional student competencies and outcomes.  

    As of July 2024, over $512,553,260 million of ELOP funds have been used to implement programs that align with the intent of the State and the District's own strategic plan. Some examples of programs include:

    Outdoor Education Field Trips
    High-Dosage Tutoring
    Cultural Arts Passport
    Campus Lighting 
    Expansion of Internship Programs 
    Technology & eSport Mobile Labs
