A component of a comprehensive program for English learners, consisting of a variety of strategies, techniques, and materials specially designed to provide students at an intermediate or advanced level of English proficiency access to grade-level core curriculum in English. Must be provided by a teacher who has a credential appropriate to the assignment and CLAD emphasis or Certificate or who is in training for such an authorization.
