Back to School Job Openings

It's Back to School for Los Angeles Unified and we are HIRING. We have excellent opportunities to work for LAUSD in positions that directly support our students and the educational programs we offer. We are currently looking for:
 
Custodians/Custodian Trainees who clean and maintain our schools. A high school degree is required. Candidates with no related experience can attend a training course to meet job requirements.
 
Instructional Assistants who aid educators and support students in learning to read and in learning math. These positions require a high school degree, two years of college or achievement of a passing score on several proficiency tests.
 
Student and Family Resource Navigators who foster partnerships and manage cases for community programs. Requirements for these positions include a BA degree and two years of related experience.
 
Special Education Paraprofessionals who support the education needs of students in our special education programs. Requirements for these positions include a BA degree and two years of related experience. New employees start as substitutes and move into regular assignment as they gain experience.
 
Food Services Workers who serve food at our school cafeterias and ensure that students are well fed. These are part-time substitute positions which may become regular positions.
