Act of Violance
The Act of Violence (AOV) is an extended industrial leave benefit provided by the District under the specific bargaining agreement that meets the criteria of the Act of Violence. An Act of Violence is defined as a physical injury caused by an intentional physical and violent assault during the performance of the employee’s assigned duties. The injury must be physical to harm. Refer to the Act of Violence bulletin for further details.
