See You in School: Elizabeth Learning Center - Journalism

Meet Ruth, a senior at Elizabeth Learning Center who has been part of the school community since pre-K. Over the years, she’s found her voice through the school’s journalism program, where she now writes, edits, and helps produce the monthly student newspaper.

From leading the debate team to writing op-eds and interviewing local leaders, Ruth has used storytelling to uplift her peers and spotlight important topics within the school. One of her favorite projects? A Halloween edition that featured ghost stories from campus staff and sparked conversations across the student body.
