The Visual Services Program seeks teachers to work with students with various visual disabilities in both general and alternate curriculums. Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments service a caseload of students and teach skills that help the students access the curriculum.

- Baccalaureate or Higher degree from a regionally-accredited Institution of Higher Education
- Hold or qualify for a credential or permit authorizing full-time, contracted service as a teacher in a California Public School
- A valid California Special Education Teaching Credential or combination of credentials authorizing service in Visual Impairment (VI)

- Applicants who are deemed ELIGIBLE by Human Resources will be placed on the appropriate eligibility list for a period of one calendar year
