The following Outlook troubleshooting recommendation:
1. Make sure user is able to login within the web outlook
2. Make sure computer is updated for “windows update”
3. Run “Desktop software” for updating the outlook client within office365 webmail.
4. If none of the above works, then reconfigure outlook with a new profile , but remove/move the existing .ost files to a Temp folder** One Drive and Office 365 online is AVAILABLE for Students at 1 to 1 schools
