Addressing LGTBQ Hate
Shooting at Club Q
On the eve of Transgender Remembrance Day, a day to honor the memory of those whose lives were lost due to violence, our country experienced another brutal attack on an LGBTQ establishment in Colorado Springs. We mourn this tragedy. Hate and violence have no place in our communities, our schools and in our hearts. We in LA Unified stand with our LGBTQIA+ students, staff and families in supporting our schools and communities as safe and affirming learning and working environment.
