Varouj Seuylemezian has over 10 years of experience at Los Angeles Unified School District. He currently directs the Enterprise Applications Branch which is responsible for over 100 systems in the District. Mr. Seuylemezian has built a reputation for leadership in strategic planning and long-range development, ensuring cost-effective, efficient project launches, Restructuring, Change Management and Operations. As a results orientated person, he is always “getting projects completed” through collaboration, partnerships, and relationships—as a senior director in the information technology industry.
With an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly attitude, Mr. Seuylemezian radiates a sincere passion for delivering value and benefits to his customers. Reporting directly to LAUSD’s Chief Information Officer, he has more than 20 years in IT experience. He has solid experience managing developers with full lifecycle Project Management from conception, including technology assessment, deliverables, project timeline creation to development, management, implementation. Before serving at LAUSD, Mr. Seuylemezian was Director of Applications in the Insurance Industry where he led, managed, and oversaw financial, insurance and human resources projects, initiatives, and daily operations. While software development is his passion, project and team management is his strength. Keeping on top of projects, managing teams and making sure all facets of the project get to the finish line is what he does best.
Mr. Seuylemezian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
