Continuity of Learning Summer Activities For Students

Division of Special Education is hosting a series of Resource FairsLos Angeles Unified’s Continuity of Learning Plan includes digital choice board activities for reading, writing, math, and enrichment for students in grades K-12. Students may access these resources on Schoology anytime, anywhere during the Summer Break from June 15 - August 6.  
 
This plan is accessible to families via their Parent Portal account and to students by visiting lms.lausd.net. Students will need their Single Sign-on to access the resources.

Los Angeles Unified 2026-30 Strategic Plan

Division of Special Education is hosting a series of Resource FairsThe Los Angeles Unified 2026-30 Strategic Plan was recently unanimously approved by the Board of Education. The 2026-30 Strategic Plan builds on the progress of the 2022-26 plan while strengthening our commitment to ensuring every student graduates Ready for the World and prepared for college, career, and life.

Summer of Learning

Division of Special Education is hosting a series of Resource Fairs
Registration is still open for our Summer of Learning Program. We have plenty of TK-12 programs, including credit recovery, college-readiness classes, fun enrichment courses, after-school programs, and healthy meals.

Summer Activities and Resources

Division of Special Education is hosting a series of Resource FairsSummer is the time to explore the outdoors and take learning beyond the classroom. Exploring nature, visiting the local library, and engaging in hands-on experiences can ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity in learners of all ages. Click on this link for activities and resources from libraries, parks, and museums across the greater Los Angeles area. 

Summer Meal Program

Division of Special Education is hosting a series of Resource FairsThe District offers the Summer Food Service Program to provide nutritious meals to students during the summer months. The program will operate from June 22 to July 20, with some sites starting June 15.  
  • Meals served to children must be eaten on the school site campus.
  • Meals are for children18 years of age and younger.
  • No adult meals or parent pick-up are allowed.
