hile much of the nation saw stalled academic growth, Los Angeles Unified students continued to rise.
A new national study from Harvard, Stanford, and Dartmouth found Los Angeles Unified is outperforming the state and nation in both math and reading growth, with progress seen across nearly every student group.
This achievement reflects what’s possible when high standards, strong support, and a shared commitment to students remain at the center of our work. It belongs to the collective effort of students, families, educators, support staff, and school leaders who show up every day believing in what our young people can achieve.
The real magic happens in the hands of people who invest in students with care, purpose, and deep belief in their potential.
