Los Angeles Unified Finalizes Agreements with Multiple Labor Partners

LOS ANGELES (March 10, 2026) — Today, the Los Angeles Unified Board of Education approved four labor agreements with employee groups, including California School Employees Association and its Los Angeles Chapter 500 (CSEA) Unit D, Teamsters Local 572 Unit S, the Los Angeles School Police Association (LASPA) Unit A, and the Los Angeles School Police Management Association (LASPMA) Unit H. 

Together, the agreements reinforce the District’s commitment to supporting the dedicated workforce that serves students and families across Los Angeles.

“These agreements represent meaningful collaboration and shared commitment to the success of our schools and reflect Los Angeles Unified’s commitment to investing in the people who make our schools run every day,” Acting Superintendent Andrés E. Chait said. “These employees play a vital role in maintaining safe, supportive, and effective learning environments for students.”

Los Angeles Unified remains committed to maintaining strong partnerships with employee groups and investing in the workforce that supports the district’s nearly half a million students.
