Today President Biden signed a bipartisan bill to federally recognize and protect same-sex marriage in the United States. While this took entirely too long, it is welcomed progress nonetheless. I am thankful that our LGBTQ students, staff, teachers and families can rest easier tonight knowing their relationships are protected throughout the country. Now we must continue working toward the full inclusion of the entire LGBTQ community. Let’s go.
