Statement from General Counsel David Holmquist (5-31-19)

The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association’s complaints to the Fair Political Practices Commission and the District Attorney are an unfortunate attempt to manufacture a false media story. They are frivolous and wholly lacking in merit. Voters should understand this is a referendum on the need for local funding to support Los Angeles public schools.
