LOS ANGELES (June 18, 2019) - Megan Reilly agreed to join Los Angeles Unified on July 8 as deputy superintendent of Business Services and Operations.
“On behalf of everyone at Los Angeles Unified, I would like to welcome Ms. Reilly back to Los Angeles,” Superintendent Austin Beutner said. “Megan brings considerable expertise in helping align operational efforts with the needs of students. She will help lead our work to increase transparency in all we do.”
Reilly currently serves as chief business officer for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, and previously served as Los Angeles Unified’s chief financial officer.
“I am excited to return to Los Angeles Unified,” said Reilly. “I love the work. I know many of the people and the communities we serve. I believe in the strength and beauty of Los Angeles Unified’s community of schools, which is all about the people. This work has taught me the social and moral responsibility that we adults must make a positive difference in a child’s life. I look forward to the work ahead with the team on behalf of students.”
