The Los Angeles Unified Equitable Grading and Instruction Micro-Credentialing process prepares EGI certified educators of grades kindergarten through twelfth grade to effectively implement evidence-based, equity-focused grading and instructional practices. The ultimate goal of the Equitable Grading and Instruction Micro-Credentialing process is to ensure that teachers become accomplished proficiency-based grading and mastery-based learning educators, able to enact positive change in their classroom and school, and improve achievement for students in Los Angeles Unified.
