What is ITS Employee of the Quarter and Year?
A recognition program that provides an opportunity for any Los Angeles Unified employee to nominate an ITS employee to be acknowledged for their service to the students and employees of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Who may be nominated?
All ITS employees are eligible to be nominated.
For the ITS Employee of the Year, the nominees are the previous winners of the ITS Employee of the Quarter of this school year.

Who can nominate an ITS employee?
The form is open for all Los Angeles Unified employees to complete.

How many people may I nominate?
You can nominate one employee in each category every quarter: Business Support or School Support.

What are the two categories?
The Business Support Category is for employees that provide support to District divisions and offices in any of the following areas: application development or support, infrastructure, IT security, IT Help Desk support, administrative or operational support.
The School Support Category is for employees that work in the field and provide technology support such as device support, communications systems support, or network support.

Will a prize be awarded to the Employee of the Quarter?
Yes, a prize will be awarded to the winner.

How many times can an employee win?
Employees can win once per school year.

When will nominations end?
The nomination window will be open for over a month.

What is the voting process?
After the nomination period closes, the top five (5) employees with the highest number of nominations in each category will be revealed. All Los Angeles Unified employees will be able to vote for one (1) employee in each category. The employee with the highest votes in each category will be awarded as employee of the quarter.
